How to Lawfully Force the Removal of President Trump Without Impeachment

Trump is literally killing America. We have a moral imperative to remove him. Here’s a plan on how to do it, lawfully and peacefully, as inspired by the heroes of the Ferguson protests without waiting for another half-baked impeachment hearing.

The first key to understanding how is what motivates Donald J. Trump on everything, including why he ran for President in the first place. To him, the entire universe exists as a popularity contest — it’s #Winning expressed as a governing life philosophy. And no more ultimate popularity contest exists than the election of a new executive in charge of the United States of America every four years. It’s why he switched from being a Democrat to a Republican — from a party trendy with Hollywood and Silicon Valley elite to one that he rightfully thought he could exploit straight to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, and one that more perfectly aligned with his wealth-hoarding and narcissistic sensibilities anyway. It’s also why he praises approval ratings and numbers above absolutely everything else — to him, popularity and universal love are everything.

It’s time to use that against him.

If this is true (and it certainly is), then one might reason that he’ll do anything and everything to save it — even sacrifice his own Presidency if he has to. He is, after all, currently sacrificing the country for it. So all that’s needed in order to remove Trump from office — indeed, get Trump to voluntarily remove himself from office through resignation — is to convince him that it’s the only way to not only save the creature comforts he has come to love and rely on through his wealth, but also the popularity and narcissism he prizes above even the lives of the entirety of the country he presides over.

This is the plan to provide that reason. Unfortunately, it’s not simple, and it requires the coordinated efforts of literally millions of people. Then again, as they say, nothing worthwhile is easy, and the literal continued existence of this country and indeed you and me are the stakes involved.

Warning: This is Bigger than Trump

Trump is less the problem than a symptom of the ills of the Republican Party itself, ills he has exploited to benefit himself at the expense of the rest of the country. While removing Trump from power yields immediate benefits, long-term repair will only be possible by removing the Republican Party and its key influences entirely. I will be working a larger plan on how to do exactly that into my plan on how to immediately remove Trump.

The Key Fundamentals, Summarized:

  1. Deny Trump the comforts and privilege granted upon him through his wealth and through his status of being President of the United States
  2. Convince Trump that he is infact universally hated, despised and, specifically, that the population wishes to forget he ever existed and wipe him out from the collective memory
  3. Convince Trump that the only way to rectify this is through his immediate resignation.

Step One: Deny Trump the comforts and privilege granted upon him through his wealth and through his status of being President of the United States

Being the President of the United States has some undeniably lavish privileges: the White House, rightfully referred to as the Executive Mansion; unfettered, immediate and unquestioned access to a bevy of other lavishly appointed mansions and ultra-luxury townhomes and even exclusive ultra-luxurious resorts and private airports blatantly masquerading as military outposts; Air Force One (or more specifically, the VC-25As as the aircraft are actually referred to), some of the largest and fastest aircraft flying and singularly focused to serve the whims of the President when on foreign missions; and a damn-near literal battle tank that not only masquerades as a limousine but is actually able to provide the creature-comforts of one. Despite “only” earning $400,000 per year including all expenses as President, as President Trump is treated to peripheral perks that he could only dream of even as a multi-millionaire or billionaire, perks specifically reserved for the President and denied to absolutely everyone else.

It’s time to prove that when the nation’s future is at stake, even the President himself can be denied those perks, too.

My plan specifically involves effectively “blockading” Andrews Air Force Base/Joint Camp Andrews, that aforementioned ultra-exclusive luxurious private airport masquerading as an Air Force base. Or more specifically, block access through Suitland Parkway and Allentown Road, the roadways that actually provide access to Joint Camp Andrews, through entrenched and encamped protesters “Ferguson”-style. Ideally, by blocking his portal to the rest of the world, this quarantines Trump into experiencing the same Stay-at-Home orders the rest of the nation has had to experience whether he likes it or not. Realistically, it doesn’t — if nothing else the Marines can fly a helicopter straight to the White House’s lawn, like they routinely do anyway, and of course it’s not difficult for Trump even when bound to the roads to find a way around anyway. As a last resort, DC and Maryland State Police and Prince George’s County Sheriffs can simply resort to the favored tactic of brutal police forces everywhere — mass arrests of protesters and denying their Constitutionally-guaranteed rights, just like the did in Ferguson. But it’s vital to not underestimate the effect such a mass-protest would have, especially in convincing Trump that his Presidency is untenable and over. Such a protest, especially if it can be organized in a “pop-up” fashion to coincide with his travels, can be immensely disruptive to Trump and his lavish lifestyle, even if only temporarily, and give him serious second thoughts about whether it’s worthwhile to remain President. It sends a powerful message that the nation is so fed up with him, that they’re very much willing and able to provide him as much discomfort as possible until he simply has enough and returns to his old civilian way of life.

Of course you may have some questions:

— how are we supposed to mass-protest anyway when we’re all under quarantine? For starters, strictly speaking, we’re not under quarantine anymore, and there’s serious question if such a mass-protest would be denied under quarantine anyway, as if it genuinely matters. Protests have always been seen as actively flouting the law, even though they’re a Constitutionally-guaranteed right to begin with. Besides, the right-wing has been engaging in mass protests with little to no consequences, legal or pandemic-related, while left-leaning protests have also been highly active despite disproportionate legal punishment coming their way. The fate of the nation itself outweighs even rent that amounts to literal taxation-to-death, and if protesters can find a way to safely protest rent rate hikes, surely people can find a way to safely protest in a manner to attempt to force Trump to see that resignation is the only choice.

— wouldn’t mass arrests be involved? In full intellectual honesty, I’m forced to admit that this is a strong possibility, if not a very strong likelihood, which technically makes the “lawful” part of my plan somewhat a lie if not a big fat one. But protests of this nature are very much a rich tradition of the United States of America, and it’s a tradition that we should carry out equally richly especially when it’s in the name of preserving the future of the country and all of the people within its borders. The heroes of Ferguson were willing, completely unarmed, to stare down brutal thugs, including women, gay trans and non-binary people, and People of Color donning the uniform of the oppressor who whether realizing it or not were betraying their fellow kinspeople, in order to not only bring about justice, but to preserve their very own lives and the lives of women, the LGBTQIA+ community and especially People of Color all over the nation. Where are the people now, willing to take up that same call as those heroes of Ferguson, when the entire nation and the lives of everyone within its borders is at stake?

Step Two: Convince Trump that he is Infact Universally Hated, Despised and, Specifically, that the Population Wishes to Forget He Ever Existed and Wipe Him Out From the Collective Memory

This sounds much more harsh than what it actually is.

But the key to this step is to use one of his most powerful assets directly against him.

One of Trump’s most popular stances is regarding the reopening of the economy; he is, after all, “the economy’s President”.

But what if the reopening of the economy were to be against the benefit of Trump? Or more specifically, what if the economy just refuses to open, period?

This is where the coordination of literally millions comes in. Even as Americans begin to socialize again and rebuild its culture, we must steadfastly refuse to reopen the economy. This very specifically means not reopening shops, not reopening factories, and at its very basic premise simply not going to work, at all.

Not until Donald J. Trump resigns as President.

The industry that may very well have the biggest short-term impact is sports. We can’t count on NASCAR, the only sport “open” right now, since the NASCAR fandom and Trump voters are almost mutually inclusive anyway; however, the collective of all other sports is more than likely enough to bring Trump to his knees and to resignation. The rest of the NFL pulls a Colin Kapernick and simply refuses to play until Trump resigns; MLB doesn’t play, in front of empty stadiums or anything, until likewise; the only thing a single viewer on TV or in person will ever get out of the NBA are players unified raising their fists and demanding that Trump leave power. That particular last point, the whole thing that inspired this entire Step Two, isn’t even an original idea of mine; I was first exposed to it while watching an episode of The Boondocks from well over a decade if not fifteen years ago. But the point only becomes more relevant now as power went from George W. Bush, a man who seems moderate now but nonetheless lead the entire nation to a futile, useless and pointless war, to Donald J. Trump, a man seemingly hellbent on bring Hell itself to Earth, and to this very nation in the name of his own wealth and narcissism. It’s well past time for the NBA to finally act to peacefully and lawfully counteract this blatant evil.

Of course sports isn’t the only industry that can demand that Trump resign by refusing to work. The manufacturing sector as a whole has absolute power to kick out Trump through work-refusal; whether that be the all-worshipped auto industry sector, the military-industrial complex that the right-wing in particular worships above all, or just any form of manufacturing whatsoever. That said, both the auto industry and military-industrial complex, like NASCAR, are dominated by people sympathetic to Trump in the first place. However, even a slim minority who wants to see Trump out can have powerful effects by simply refusing to work.

And there’s the rest of us. By refusing to return to work — by refusing to open our stores, our cottage industries, and indeed refusing to work remotely, we can grind Trump’s administration to a complete half with a deafening message: if you want the economy to return, you must resign, unconditionally.

Step Three: Convince Trump That the Only Way to Rectify This is Through His Immediate Resignation

The final step is the simplest: just make clear what the condition is necessary to return things to “normal”: the resignation of Donald Trump. Nothing short is permissible. Once Trump sees that his situation is untenable, that the most ultimate popularity contest in the known universe is permanently lost to him, he’ll feel that the best solution is to retreat to the comforts of private citizenship where he can live in his own little private world again without inflicting it upon the rest of the nation.

And that’s it. The world is finally rid of Donald J. Trump as a world leader, and no violence had to be resorted to.

But That’s Not the End — We Still Have an Entire Political Party to Deal With

Again, Trump is a symptom, not the disease. He was simply able to exploit all the “features” of the Republican Party in order to rise to power. The Republican Party itself, not Trump, represents the true root of the cause of the pandemic — and the widening equality gap.

It, too, must be done away with, as a whole political entity.

Here’s how to do that, too.

In short, it’s exactly the same steps as detailed above, just applied to “lesser” members of the party. Block Mitch McConnell’s avenues of travel outside his home through peaceful mass protest. Make it clear that not a single game of pro football will ever be played until Lindsey Graham resigns from his position.

And it’s even applicable to those who influence the party from outside it too. Hold mass protests outside of Fox News and One America Network, to the point where nobody can even enter the building through the impenetrable throngs of people. Refuse to host another MLB game until every person behind those networks resigns until those very networks themselves cease to exist.

I know this is asking a lot, and relying on the cooperation of no less than millions of strangers — many of whom, including those positioned to be most influential in such a plan, are ideologically aligned with Trump and his political and cultural cronies anyway. But don’t underestimate the power of the masses, or how many there are in those masses. We may feel that the heroes of Ferguson didn’t change anything in the long run, but that didn’t effect their will and determination to make a literal stand and exercise America’s greatest right to truly make what must be made right.
